Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data PT. Gentala Jasma Ayu ("Gentala", "we") collects when you use gentala.co.id, what we use it for, who we share it with, and your rights over it. By shopping, sending an inquiry, or creating an account on this site, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

PT. Gentala Jasma Ayu sells slaughterhouse and livestock equipment from Jl. Pulau Bacan Gg. Mekarsari No. 19, Kedamaian, Bandar Lampung, Lampung 35121, Indonesia. We are the controller of the personal data collected through this site. Contact us through our Contact page, which lists our service email and WhatsApp number.

2. Data we collect

Data you give us

  • Your name, email address, and WhatsApp number, when you check out, send an inquiry, create an account, or contact us.

  • Your delivery address (province, city, district, sub-district, postal code, and full address) and order notes.

  • The text of inquiries and Contact form messages, product reviews, and photos you upload with a review.

  • Your account password, if you create one. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; we cannot read them.

Data created when you use the site

  • Your order, payment, shipping, return, and review history.

  • Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and session cookies, to keep the site secure and limit abuse.

  • Visit statistics and shopping events (see Cookies).

3. What we use data for

  • Processing and delivering orders, calculating shipping costs, and handling payments, cancellations, returns, and refunds.

  • Contacting you about an order or inquiry by email and WhatsApp, including order status emails and invoices.

  • Creating and managing your account, including Sign in with Google.

  • Keeping the site secure, preventing fraud, and meeting legal and tax obligations.

  • Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Sign in with Google and Google user data

You can sign in with your Google account. This site asks Google for three basic scopes only: openid, email, and profile.

  • Data we receive from Google: your name, email address, Google account identifier (ID), and whether Google has verified your email.

  • What we use it for: only to create your store account, link it to orders and inquiries made with the same email, and let you sign in again. There is no other use.

  • What we do not do: we do not request access to Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive, or any other Google data. We do not sell or share your Google data with others for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

  • Storage: the data is stored in our store database together with your account data, with access limited to authorised staff.

  • Removing or disconnecting: you can disconnect your Google account on the Account page as long as your account has a password, revoke access in your Google account settings, or ask us to anonymise your data (section 8).

Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only as far as needed to serve you:

  • Midtrans processes payments. You pay on Midtrans pages; we do not store your card number or payment credentials.

  • Couriers (JNE, SiCepat, J&T, AnterAja, Pos) receive your name, phone number, and delivery address to deliver the parcel. RajaOngkir receives the destination area and weight to calculate shipping costs.

  • Our email provider (Brevo) sends order emails, invoices, and notifications to you.

  • Google provides Sign in with Google and, when enabled, Google Analytics.

  • Server and network providers (hosting in Indonesia and Cloudflare) run the site.

  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

These parties process data under their own policies and only for the services named here.

6. Cookies

  • Necessary cookies: keep you signed in, hold your cart, and protect forms. The site does not work without them.

  • Analytics cookies: when Google Analytics is on, cookies record page visits and shopping events (view product, add to cart, begin checkout, purchase, send inquiry). You can block them in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep data

We keep buyer data, including accounts that have not set a password, for returns, warranty, tax, and dispute handling, until you ask for anonymisation. Once anonymised, your name, email, WhatsApp number, and address are removed from our records, while the order record and its amounts remain without your identity.

8. Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), you may access, correct, and ask for deletion or anonymisation of your personal data, and withdraw consent. Send your request through the Contact page or the store WhatsApp, stating the email you use at the store. We process it within 30 days at most.

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to customer data is limited by staff role and recorded in an audit log. No system is entirely risk-free; if a data breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page. Changes apply from the moment they are published here.
